How to play Shape Pairs

Find the pairs of colorful shapes across 3 rounds: a 4×4 warm-up table, then 4×5 and 5×6 tables with a move limit. Keep the cards in mind and uncover every pair before you run out of moves.

Flip cards and match identical shapes; Shape Pairs is a memory game in 3 rounds. The first round is a 4×4 warm-up table: 8 pairs, no move limit. In the second round, you find the 10 pairs on a 4×5 table in 28 moves, and in the last round, the 15 pairs on a 5×6 table in 42 moves.

Step by step

Tap or click a card to flip it; on a keyboard, move with the arrow keys and flip with Space.
You flip 2 cards on each move. If the shapes match, the cards stay face up; if not, they flip back over after a moment.
Every pair you find earns points; pairs found in a row grow your streak bonus. A wrong match breaks the streak and costs 10 points.
In rounds 2 and 3, the moves you have left are counted at the top. If the table isn’t cleared before you run out, the game ends; clear all 3 tables to win.

Tips

Remember the position and shape of every card that flips back; when you flip your first card, think about whether you’ve seen its match before.
In the limited rounds, every move you have left earns extra points at the end of the round; clearing the table quickly and in few moves grows your total.
