Reef Warden

A survival arena where you guard the reef until dawn. The Ink Octopus arrives at minute 2 and the Deep Giant at minute 4. Defeat the Deep Giant or reach dawn at minute 6 and the dive ends in success.

Step by step

1. Swim the diver with the arrow keys, WASD or by dragging your finger. Your harpoon fires on its own at the nearest creature.
2. Collect the pearls that creatures drop. Pearls fill your level bar; when you level up, the sea freezes and you choose 1 of 3 cards.
3. Cards give new weapons or boosts such as speed, health and a magnet. Each one grows up to level 5.
4. Dash (Space or the Dash button) launches you forward in a quick burst; you take no damage while dashing.
5. If your health bar hits zero, the dive is over.

Tips

• At minutes 1 and 3, jellyfish swarms surround you in a ring; dash through the ring to break out.
• Defeating the octopus gives you an extra level and health. Grow your weapons before the Deep Giant arrives.
• Pearls add up in the pearl vault in this browser. At 150, 400 and 800 pearls, you unlock lasting starting perks for future dives.
