City Canopy

A defense game where you protect 4 neighborhoods from beams falling from the sky on a rainy evening. Stop 24 beams to pass the first level. If all 4 neighborhoods go dark, the round ends.

Step by step

1. Click or tap a point in the sky; the launcher sends a capsule there. On a keyboard, move the crosshair with the arrow keys and launch with Space.
2. When the capsule reaches its target, it opens a canopy of light. The canopy expands, then fades, stopping any beams that enter it.
3. A caught beam opens a new canopy right where it is; nearby beams get caught in a chain reaction.
4. Your energy holds 5 capsules and refills over time. When it runs out, you can’t launch for a short while.
5. A beam that reaches a neighborhood puts its lights out. Clear the level and one dark neighborhood is repaired.

Tips

• The neighborhood each beam is aiming at is marked with a dashed line and an exclamation mark. Stop the beam closest to the ground first.
• Send the capsule a little ahead of the beam: the canopy doesn’t open all at once and takes time to expand.
• Beams caught in quick succession grow your chain score. Try to catch clustered beams with a single capsule.
