Meteor Sweep

A meteor shooter that moves through levels. Clear 18 meteors to pass the first level; in each new level, meteors fall faster and more often. Your ship takes off with 3 lives.

Step by step

1. Your laser fires on its own. Move the ship under the meteors with the mouse, your finger or the left/right arrow keys.
2. Spread (Space or the Spread button) fires in 3 directions at once, then recharges in 2.5 seconds.
3. Hitting a meteor costs a life; every 3 meteors that slip off the bottom of the screen cost one too.
4. Large meteors break after 2 hits. From level 3 on, some of the small rocks take 2 hits too.
5. When you clear a level, you get 1 life back if you’re missing any. Run out of lives and the round is over.

Tips

• Every rock you break without crashing or letting a meteor slip past extends your chain; the longer the chain, the more points each meteor is worth.
• Save the spread shot for meteors falling side by side; don’t waste it on a single rock.
• Finish a level quickly without taking damage for a bigger level bonus.
