How to play Hidden Fleet

In a 12-sea campaign, take turns firing at AI admirals with your hidden fleet. A hit earns you another shot; ships never touch, and the water around a sunk ship gets marked. You face 4 rivals, from a Rookie Captain to the Grand Admiral, who uses a probability map and sonar. Sonar counts the hidden ship parts in a 3×3 area; keep most of your fleet afloat for 3 stars.

In Hidden Fleet, you take turns firing across 12 seas against 4 rivals: Rookie Captain, Hunter Captain, Tactical Admiral and Grand Admiral. The first 4 seas are 6×6, the rest are 7×7. Both fleets are placed at random and hidden from the other side.

Step by step

  1. Tap a square in enemy waters, or pick one with the arrow keys and press Space. A miss passes the turn to your rival; a hit lets you fire again.
  2. Ships are placed in straight lines and never touch, not even diagonally. Sink a ship and the water around it is marked automatically.
  3. Sonar tells you how many hidden ship parts sit in the 3×3 area around the square you tap; using it costs your turn.
  4. Sink the enemy fleet and you win the sea; lose your own fleet and you lose it. Keep at least 70% of your fleet afloat for 3 stars, or 40% for 2.

Tips

  • After a hit, try only the 4 neighboring squares; a second hit reveals the ship’s direction.
  • Use sonar in the middle of a wide area you haven’t fired into yet; a zero result means no ships in the closed squares there.
