How to play Disc Flip

A 10-rival disc-flipping ladder on a 6×6 board. Opponents get stronger, from a greedy beginner to a master who weighs mobility and corners. Legal moves and the number of discs each one flips are shown, and the pass rule applies; win by at least 10 discs without hints for 3 stars. In 2-player mode (same device), two players take turns placing orange and purple discs on one screen, with the AI and hints switched off. Only games against the computer count toward your score and best score.

Disc Flip is a disc-flipping game on a 6×6 board. When you start, you choose Vs computer or 2 players on one device. In Vs computer mode you play 2 matches each against 5 rivals, from a greedy beginner to a master; in the second match, your rival moves first.

Step by step

  1. You play with the orange discs. Place your disc on a square that traps the rival’s discs between it and one of yours, and everything in between turns orange. On the keyboard, the arrow keys pick a square and Space places it.
  2. Squares you can legally play are marked on the board. With no legal move, the turn passes to your rival; when neither side can move, the discs are counted.
  3. Whoever holds more discs wins; a tie doesn’t clear the level. Win by at least 10 discs with no hints for 3 stars.
  4. In 2-player mode, orange and purple discs are placed in turn; the AI and hints are switched off, and the rematch’s first move changes hands.

Tips

  • A disc placed in a corner can never be flipped; don’t place an early disc right next to a corner, or you open the way for your rival to take it.
  • A move that flips a lot of discs isn’t always the best one; try to shrink the squares your rival can play instead.
