How to play Isle Alliance

A real-time island conquest over 12 expeditions, plus a Daily expedition. Your islands produce troops; send 25%, 50% or 100% of them to islands linked by a line. Fort islands strengthen your defense, and harbor islands produce faster. Every expedition, your rival attacks more often and more cleverly: it picks weak targets, moves reinforcements to the front and strikes together with neighboring islands. If you sit back, you lose; feed the front from your back islands.

You start from your green islands and try to take the whole archipelago. Isle Alliance is a real-time conquest game played across 12 expeditions on 4 maps. Run out of islands and troops on the way, and the expedition is lost.

Step by step

  1. Troops only travel along the lines connecting islands. Drag from your green island to the target, or tap the two in turn; on the keyboard, the arrow keys pick an island and Space sends.
  2. The 25%, 50% and 100% buttons at the bottom set the share of troops that sets off; an island needs at least 4 troops to send any.
  3. If the arriving troops outnumber the target’s defense, the island becomes yours and the troops left over stay there. Troops sent to your own island are reinforcements.
  4. Islands produce troops over time; neutral islands don’t. Harbor islands produce faster, and fort islands defend at 1.5× strength.
  5. Finish faster for more stars; the counter at the top shows the time limit for 3 stars.

Tips

  • Take the weak nearby neutral islands first; every new island boosts your troop production.
  • Instead of pressing the fort from a single island, strike it in succession from 2 neighboring islands.
