How to play Foam & Syrup

Foam & Syrup is a liquid sort puzzle set in a nighttime syrup shop: leave one color in every bottle. Over 24 levels the number of colors grows from 2 to 8, and foamy liquids and valve bottles join in.

Pour colorful syrups between bottles until every bottle holds a single color. Light, foamy liquids always rise to the top, and heavy syrups sink below the foam. Valve bottles pour from the bottom but never take liquid in. 24 levels (all verified by a solver), undo, one hint and a new bottle puzzle every day.

Step by step

  1. Tap a bottle, then the target bottle; dragging and dropping works too. On a keyboard, pick with the arrow keys, then take and pour with Space or Enter.
  2. A color pours into a bottle whose top color is the same, or into an empty one; as much as fits flows over. A bottle holding four units of one color gets corked.
  3. Light, foamy liquids always float to the top: they can go on any bottle with no other foam above. Heavy syrups sink below the foam, but must match the topmost syrup.
  4. A valve bottle pours from the bottom, takes no liquid and must end up empty. In levels with a move limit you lose when the moves run out; if you’re stuck, use Undo or Restart.

Tips

  • For 3 stars, match the move count of the shortest solution. Each level has one hint; using it caps you at 2 stars.
  • The Daily Bottle is the same for everyone each day. New shelf decorations arrive at 15, 30, 45 and 60 stars.
