How to play Crystal Field
An 18-level crystal field plus a Daily field: on grids growing from 6×6 to 7×7, read the numbers around hidden crystals and open every safe square. Each board is generated and verified to be solvable by logic alone after the first tap, so no guessing is needed. When the flags around an open number are complete, tapping it opens its neighbors at once. Safe scan helps when you’re stuck but costs a star; in the first 3 levels, a shield forgives one mistake.
You try to open the safe squares without touching the crystals. Crystal Field has 18 levels: the first 6 fields are 6×6, the next 12 are 7×7, and the number of crystals rises from 5 to 13.
Step by step
- The first square you dig and the 8 squares around it are always safe. Crystals are placed after that first tap, and the timer starts at that moment.
- Each number tells you how many crystals are in the 8 squares around it. Long-press a square you know holds a crystal to place a ⚑; on a keyboard, select with the arrow keys and dig with Space.
- Tap a number whose flags are complete and the remaining squares around it open together. Touching a crystal ends the level; in the first 3 levels, a shield forgives one mistake.
- When you’re stuck, the Scan button opens a safe square but costs a star. Finish without scanning and within the time target for 3 stars.
Tips
- If a number has exactly as many closed squares around it as its value, they’re all crystals; flag them.
- Read 2 neighboring numbers together: if one’s closed squares are all inside the other’s, the difference between the numbers is the number of crystals in the squares outside.
