Stone Glide

A 5-stone curling throw series. In the rings, 3 rival stones are already waiting for you. Score at least 20 points with your own stones over the 5 stones and you win.

Step by step

1. Set direction with the left/right arrows and power with the up/down arrows; Space throws the stone. On touch, press next to the stone, pull it back and release.
2. Aim and power start at an off-center value for every throw. A dashed line shows the stone’s path.
3. The ice’s drift pulls the stone sideways; the box in the top right shows the drift’s direction and strength.
4. Hold Space or the Toss / sweep button while the stone glides to sweep it: friction drops and the stone travels further.
5. You score 10, 7, 4 or 1 point per stone based on how close it is to the center. The total is recalculated after every throw based on where the stones end up.

Tips

• Stones collide: you can knock rival stones out of the rings, but you can also push your own stone and lower its score.
• Sweep if a stone looks like it’ll fall short; don’t sweep one that’s fast enough, or it may cross the rings and go out of play.
