Pin Lane

A 12-level bowling career, plus a Daily match. Levels come in 3 kinds: a frame match uses standard scoring, a spare hunt has you clear the pins left standing, and a strike streak has you go for a full knockdown every time.

Step by step

1. Set the ball’s starting spot with the left/right arrows and its spin with the up/down arrows.
2. Hold Space and the power meter starts swinging. Release at the power you want; too short a hold and the ball won’t roll.
3. On touch or with the mouse, flick up the lane: the length of the flick sets the power and its sideways drift sets the spin.
4. You get 10 seconds per throw. Let time run out and the ball rolls on its own at the lowest power.

Tips

• A ball that drops into the gutter at the edge of the lane won’t touch a single pin; don’t set your starting spot too close to the edge.
• From the 5th level on, some lanes are oily and keep pushing the ball the same way. Set your starting spot or spin to the opposite side to compensate.
• Frame matches count strike and spare bonuses, and the last frame gives you an extra throw.
