How to play Sprout Farm

Run a small farm with 6 plots for 3 days: plant seeds, harvest the crops when they’re ripe and reinvest what you earn. Each day the goal gets bigger and crops grow faster, but ripe crops wither if you leave them. Reach the day’s gold goal before time runs out.

Sprout Farm has you run a 6-plot farm over 3 days. Each day starts with 8 gold, and you need to hit a gold goal before time runs out: 60 for Spring morning, 100 for Summer noon and 150 for Harvest evening.

Step by step

  1. Tap an empty plot to plant a seed; a seed costs 2–3 gold. The counter under the plot shows how many seconds the sprout needs to ripen. On the keyboard, the arrow keys pick a plot and Space acts on it.
  2. A HARVEST label appears on a ripe crop. Tap it to collect 7–8 gold into your till, and the plot is ready to plant again.
  3. A ripe crop withers if you leave it too long. You can’t plant a withered plot again until you tap to clear it.
  4. Reach the goal before time runs out and the next day begins, with every second left over adding to your score. Run out of time under the goal and the game ends.

Tips

  • Turn the gold from your first harvests straight into new seeds; an empty plot earns nothing.
  • As the days go by, a ripe crop’s wither time drops from 6 seconds to 2.4 seconds. Space your planting out so harvests don’t all pile up at once.
